Executive coaching is a unique relationship between two people, the coach and the coachee, which is dedicated to the coachee's success.

The purpose of executive coaching is to enable the coachee to achieve their potential in their current business role and organisational context.

Coaching is challenging. The coach helps the coachee shift their perspective, think differently and find new, more effective, more efficient ways of achieving their goals.

At the same time, coaching is non-directive. The coach does not provide answers, they act as a sounding board and help the coachee find solutions that are going to work for them.

The relationship that develops between coach and coachee evolves and becomes a platform for conversations that can be profound and transformational.

Topics addressed cover a wide range of subjects. These may include:

  • Developing authority, presence and impact
  • Building leadership competencies
  • Performance coaching
  • Creating a personal brand
  • Promotion and career transition
  • Handling conflict and difficult conversations
Good coaching requires a high level of psychological awareness as well as an appreciation of the business context in which the coachee is operating.

"I felt I could be totally open and frank in my discussions with Tom and this meant that we developed a good relationship based on mutual trust."
